About us
StockSense exists because running a retail business in Nigeria is harder than it should be.
Most inventory and POS tools available to Nigerian businesses were built for Western markets. They are overpriced, overly complex, and completely ignore how business is actually done here.
Bank transfers are not an afterthought here — they are the primary payment method. Internet cuts out. Power goes out. Cashiers share one device. A store owner should not need an IT consultant to understand how much money they made today.
StockSense was built from scratch for this reality. Offline-first POS. Bank transfer as a first-class payment option. AI that reads your price list from a photo or a WhatsApp message. A dashboard that works on any phone, any browser, anywhere.
We are not trying to adapt a foreign product for Africa. We are building the operating system for African retail businesses — from the ground up.
Our mission
Every design decision is made for how Nigerian and African businesses actually operate.
If you can use WhatsApp, you can run StockSense. No training, no manuals, no IT person.
Your data is yours. Fully isolated, encrypted, and never shared with anyone else.
We ship fast. Features you request today get built. We listen to every business we serve.
The founder
StockSense was founded by Dhapor — a builder who saw firsthand how much time and money Nigerian business owners lose to disorganised inventory, missed sales, and zero visibility into their own businesses.
The goal was simple: build something that actually works in Nigeria. Something fast, affordable, and designed for the way people here actually run their stores.
